If you wish "just a lid", Walmart did have on the shelf a 10-inch flat stainless lid that fits 10-inch fry pans. I have one that I use with my Lodge fry pan, and just bought one online, to use with my Trmontina pan.

I found a Nordic Ware stainless steel lid on Amazon.

I got a very nice Pyrex lid for this pan at a thrift store for only $2.00 and in perfect condition.

The label on the pan pkg. states "gas, electric, ceramic glass, oven safe, diswasher safe". Nothing about induction. But their customer service ph. is 800-221-7809, Texas.

I have an electric flat top stove top. It works fine on that.

Will this pan work on an induction cooktop?

Your pans are oven-safe up to 350ºF (176ºC). However, do NOT use under an oven broiler unit.
Even though the handles are oven-safe, they will get hot in the oven and on the stovetop, particularly gas stoves where an open flame is used. Therefore, please use protective mitts when handling the pans.

I&#39;m using these on a a regular Hotpoint electric stovetop and oven. What is the heat limit? (Are the handles truly ovenproof?

Nothing sticks to this pan. The clean-up is simple, just a dab of Dawn and warm water. My goal is to reolace every one of my skillets with Tramontina porcelain enamel.

Fantastic

I mostly use this pan to cook omelettes and veggies. I seasoned it well, after purchase, with some virgin coconut oil. Nothing sticks to the pan and it's even oven-safe up to 350 degrees. I would happily buy this pan again and the plum color is really mellow and attractive.

Amazing pan for the price

Can you call a fry pan magic? It is the best fry pan I have ever had!! Makes me want to buy more sizes. Does NOT stick, even frying pancakes with NO oil, Pam or anything!

Excellent pan! Food doesn't stick to it, and I don't worry about the non-stick product flaking off in my food. Light and easy to lift. Easy to clean. Seasoning wasn't hard. Buy these!

The non-stick pan I've been dreaming of!

I absolutely love this fry pan. The porcelain interior is excellent and NO foods stick to it. I use an ceramic cooktop so you have to make sure to keep the heat level at Medium as the cookware does heat up fast. I would recommend this to anyone trying to stay away from the teflon coated cookware.

Tramotina Porcelain Fry Pan

I bought this for my husband who cooks a full breakfast every morning. It is a GREAT pan and am thinking of buying more.

Follow the directions: use low or medium heat, season the pan etc. Our eggs every morning come out the perfect overeasy with no broken yokes!!

No more teflon!

I have owned this pan for around 3 months, and now bought two more as gifts. One was received by a family member, and she was disappointed in a competitor's "green" fry pan, after using it for some months. She texted me after using this the first time and said "I LOVE IT"!!!

It's VERY well made, and NICE finish, everywhere. It has a nice "heft" to it, not the flimsy lightweight feel of most of the new "green" fry pans. And it sets FLAT on the stove, even with a good sturdy handle, it doesn't do that "tippy over" act on you before you load it. The biggest caution is to keep the heat no more than "medium" when the pan is empty, especially, (their instructions). I've turned it up a bit higher once the pan is cooking the food, and it hasn't fazed it. It cleans up every time like new. If the food is really dry, doesn't hurt to wipe a little oil across the bottom, but if there is a bit of water, you don't need it. Cheesy food and eggs just slide right out.

If you want a great omelet pan, you will love this! Of course, you don't use metal utensils in these either, but the finish seems very hard and durable. For the most part all I use is a soft silicone spatula or a nylon one, for use in this pan, they are that easy to work with.

I don't like Teflon or PTFE based "non-stick" cookware, for the chemicals they release. Some places this pan is described as "ceramic" and elsewhere it's "porcelain enamel". It has no odor to it at any time, and I researched it quite thoroughly before settling on it. I am very pleased with the decision. I got the 8" for myself, and the 10" for my gifts, as they are for more than one person.

If there was ANY criticism, it would be that the handle can get a little warm, as the metal hook loop extends beyond the soft grip on the handle. That can get pretty warm, but nothing that a little pot holder doesn't take care of. But then, I do not have as tough of hands in hot dishwater either, like some do! The handle has a great grip feel to it, and it's not overly large.

I think Walmart should stock these, they are only kept as an online order item. But with so many color and size options, I suppose that would be a problem to stock them.

Originally, I made this choice more for the fact that it was USA made, WHERE do you find things we have made these days?? The quality of this American made (with LIFETIME warranty!) product gives me great satisfaction and pride to use it and give as a gift!

However, the online purchase went very smoothly, and they delivered it on the SHORT end of their prediction!

A great fry pan, and USA made!

I was happy with the look and feel of this pan. It has a nice cooking surface and a solid handle with a cushioned grip. I also like the lifetime guarantee and the resonable price for this quality cookware. Be sure to season the pan before use and use the correct utensils such as wood, nylon, rubber et.. and this pan should last for quite a long time. It heats up evenly and is best used with low or medium heat. It cooks food beautifully and the food slides right out with almost no oil used. Cleanup is very easy with soapy warm water and a sponge.

Very nice saute pan

I wanted a pan for my Induction cook top this is NOT the one for it. other wise on regular cook top works great.would recommend for anyone but not for Induction cook tops.

I bought this after discovering this brand and buying some of their enameled cast iron.   The color is beautiful and it is non-stick.  I did 'season' it as instructed so that may help.  I am a bit sad because after only using it 3 times it has a little chip of paint coming off.  Just hoping it doesn't continue.
